
Tedancari (acronym for Teatro Danza La Caridad - Theatre Dance La Caridad) Afro Cuban and Contemporary Dance Company, founded in 1992 in Buenos Aires by the choreographer Marta Bercy, teacher of Modern and Afro Cuban dances.
Tedancari is formed by dancers from different countries, blending modern dance techniques with the most popular Afro Latin and Caribbean dances.
We have 3 different Courses:
Workuba (Intensive and Latin Workshop Internacional of Dance Modern, Afro-Cuban) that is realized 2 times a year, with 15 days of duration and Levels: Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced.
In Workuba there are included different Latin Dances that have African roots and artistic complementary forms. (Example: for the 9th Workuba 2007 from September 8 until September 22 will include Contemporary Dance / Landau (African Peruvian) / Brazilian Samba (Afro Brasil) / Afro-Cuban (Cuba) / Choreographic Composition / Choreographic Practice of Salsa / Performance for Ballet dancers and Artistic Make-up. Cost: 120 $. Argentine pesos.
Workshop "Dance in Buenos Aires" of a week of duration, directed to Schools, Groups of Dance and Ballet dancers for Intermediate and Advanced Level, in the following Forms ( to choose 3 or 4): Contemporary dance, Ballet, Tap, Jazz dances, Flamenco, Salsa, Samba, Afro-Cuban Dances. In 7 days with schedules of 10am to 12m and of 2pm to 6pm. (42 hours), a Performance in a Theater of Buenos Aires and I move Airport - Hotel to the arrivals.Cost: U$270.
Annual Course (the whole year) from March until December for Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced in: Afro-Cuban, Work of Torso and Rumba, Styles of popular Cuban Dances (Son, Rumba, Cha-Cha-Ch?, Mambo, Cuban Salsa) and Contemporary Dance. (Pay - per - Class)
We are provided with a Team of Teachers of wide trajectory.
